Congratulations to our Retailer of the Year 2022 winners

On Thursday September 22, 2022 Retail Alliance held their Retailer of the Year Awards at the Virginia Air & Space Science Center in Hampton.

Over the past two years, the restrictions caused by the pandemic impacted our “normal” ROTY format of an in-person celebration with winners having been nominated and mystery shopped. We overcame this with our online peer voting, digital presentation, and personal visits and photo opps with winners’ certificates.

This year, we took a hybrid approach as we wanted to continue with the peer voting element but also incorporate the previous format of having winners chosen by scores from independent mystery shopping. Therefore, there are two phases in this year’s ROTY. Phase I is Peer Choice Awards and Phase II is Excellence in Retail Awards. Check out photos on our Facebook page.
