Newport News’ Vice Mayor, Saundra Cherry, helps cut ribbon to officially open the Peninsula’s first selfie studio, Say Cheezz, in Newport News

 

NEWPORT NEWS, VA: April 8, 2022 – Minority owned Newport News business, Say Cheezz, celebrated their official ribbon cutting of the Peninsula’s first selfie attraction today, April 8 2022, with the help of Vice Mayor Saundra Cherry, Newport News Econonic Development’s Elizabeth McCoury, Reverend Willard Maxwell, and Retail Alliance, Hampton Road’s retail merchant association.

Located at 14346 Warwick Blvd Unit 111 in Newport News, Say Cheezz has over 5000 sq feet of space featuring 30+ photo backdrops (including seasonal backdrops such as Easter!) and a 360-photo booth, party rooms, and more!

“We are not only excited about providing a new and interesting form of entertainment to the Peninsula, but we are also committed to offering a fun, safe and affordable way for young people in the community to express themselves creatively and in a judge free zone!” said Tawana Randolph, owner of Say Cheezz.”
